OBIT: Springboro-Graveside services will be held today in Virginia for Mrs. Nellie H. Manning, 95, 8307 Brunnell Hill Road, who died Tuesday at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton. The service will start at 2:30 at the Central Advent Christian Cemetery in Triangle, VA. Mrs. Manning was a native of Clifton Forge, VA. She is survived by four grandchildren, including Mrs. Sue Lee with whom she lived the past ten years. The Unglesby Funeral Home handled arrangements.

Obit: 12 Sep 1991-Esther McCutcheon O’Dell, 79, of 543 W. Jackson St., died this morning in the University of Virginia Medical Center at Charlottesville. She was born June 19, 1912 in Nicholas County,, W.Va., a daughter of the late Joshua Lindsay and Annette Wiseman McCutcheon. Mrs. O’Dell had made her home in Covington for the past 15 years. S he was a member of the Covington Senior Center and attended Covington Bible Church. she was preceded in death by her husband, Romeo G. O’Dell, in 1969; and by a daughter, Mrs. Delores Landis, in 1987. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Ronald (Nancy) Seabolt of Route 5, Brentwood, and Mrs Larry (Carlene) Jones of Reynoldsburg, Ohio; two sons, Clifton R. O’Dell and Roger D. O’Dell, both of Charleston, W.Va.; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Ruth Amick of Alexandria. The funeral service will be conducted Sunday at 3 P.m. from the chapel of Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home in Rainelle, W.Va., with the Rev. Howard Merrell officiating, assisted by the Rev. David McCoy. Interment will be in the Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Rainelle, W.Va. The family will receive friends Friday from 7 until 9 P.m. at Arritt Funeral Home.Avisitation will be held Saturday at Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home in Rainelle from 7 until 9 p.m.

OBIT: 26 Mar 1987-Mrs. Virginia McDaniel Everett, 84, of 129 Magazine Street, Covington, died Tuesday night at Alleghany Regional Hospital. She was the widow of William Everette who preceded her in death in 1974. Mrs. Everette was born October 25, 1902 at Amherst County, a daughter of the late D. D. McDaniel and Rose Tucker McDaniel. She had been a resident of Covington for 51 years and prior to her retirement was an employee for many years of Rose’s store on Main Street in Covington. Mrs. Everette was a member of Covington Baptist Church, the Faithful Workers Class Sunday School and the Polly Van Lear Circle of W. M. V. Society. Mrs. Everette was the last surviving member of a family of six children. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Benjamin N. Suddarth in 1953. Mrs. Everette is survived by a nephew, Lewis G. McDaniel, Williamantic, Conn; and one niece, Mrs. John (Francis) Glass, Lynchburg. Also, one dear and close friend Mrs. Melvin Burks. A funeral service will be held Friday at 4 p.m. in the chapel of Loving Funeral Home with the Rev. Marvin Jacobs officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery Pallbearers will be Morty Mauck, Dan Gibson, Marvin Scott, Jackie Adkins, Dennis Trainer and Charles Gilbert. Alternates will be L. T.
